Butcher Gourmet Meat and Sausage is a local business in the Lakewood community.  We will be carrying on the old-time butcher shop experience.  I will be the fourth owner in its lifetime that was established in the early 1970’s.  I hope to maintain the tradition and reputation of excellence that Larry Davis has established not only in Lakewood, but throughout the state of Colorado.  Our entire family is excited about this opportunity.  Myself, along with my wife, Kim, and our five children, Letitia, Lindy, Levi, Joe, and Kelly. Our goal is to continue the highest quality of beef, poultry, and pork with the old-school homemade sausage.

There are many benefits to buying at a meat shop instead of the grocery store.  One advantage is that the meat is cut in-house. Second, the meat is aged for five weeks, resulting in an extremely tender meat.  It doesn’t get more delicious than that.  We make eight different types of tasty sausages in-house and provide the Lakewood area and the state of Colorado the finest beef, pork and poultry.   From buffalo to elk, the shop features the highest quality meats available.  Fresh Red Bird poultry makes any day a holiday.  Iowa Gold Pork means the meat is natural as well as healthy and tender.  The pork and poultry are natural, hormone-free, high quality premium meats, individually hand cut to order for our customers.  We also provide top-of-the-line specialty frozen foods or quick dinner menus and several kinds of jerky for healthy snacks.  

Buying in Bulk?

If buying in bulk is your need, beef sides, hinds and frozen quarters or bundle orders are available.  The meat is fresher, tastier, and the prices are better for the quality you get compared to supermarkets.  Convenient hours make it easy to swing by and pick up a variety of packages.
